I am a new guest, what should I book?
For best overall experience, new guests should book a First Time Guest Consultation or a Virtual Consultation. This allows us to discuss your hair goals, create an action plan, and color/texture match. This appointment is required as a first step for new guests and guests’ returning after 12 months.
What is a retainer?
A retainer is a non-refundable booking fee that allows your desired appointment to be reserved. A retainer is based upon service total & is automatically applied to the balance of your service. Retainers are NOT indefinite & non-transferable to other guests. Retainers must be used within 14 days of the original appointment when rescheduling.
Can I make a change to the service I scheduled?
Changes can be made to your appointment via your confirmation email up to 24 hours before your appointment time if there is availability. Unfortunately service changes are not permitted once your appointment has begun.
I’d like to book an appointment but it’s unavailable.
Booking is available 8 hours-90 days out. If there is a date that is unavailable it may be completely booked, not yet available, or you may have selected a service that is not offered on the selected day of the week. Please reach out via email for additional availability. Convenience fees may apply.
Early/Late Arrival
If you arrive early to your appointment please reach out to (734)489-9015 and notify me of your arrival prior to entering the studio.
All appointments are given a 10 minute grace period with communication prior to your scheduled appointment time. If you arrive after 10 minutes or do not communicate your tardiness, a late fee may be assessed. After 15 minutes, your appointment may be canceled & a cancellation fee will be assessed.
Additional Guest/Children
Due to the size of the studio additional guests(including children) may not accompany you to your appointment. Due to building rules, children are not permitted to wait in the hallway unattended. Parents accompanying their minors may be seated in the chairs provided in the hallway. I do not currently service guests under the age of 12.
How long will my appointment take?
Appointment slots emailed to you are an approximate minimum appointment time frame. Please allow yourself a cushion of time for all important events and functions. Due to appointment duration variables, extension installs and hair color services are not recommended on the same day as major commitments.
Please Allow : 1-3.5 hours for Silk Press, Ponytails, Quickweaves; 2.5-6 hours for Sew-ins, Microlinks, & Tape In Installs ; up to 8 hours for I-Tip/K-Tip Installs ; 45-90 minutes for Makeup Applications ; Hair Color Appointments and Add on’s Will Vary.
Appointment Preparation :
An invigorating shampoo is provided with every service. Please arrive at your appointment fully detangled from any previous styles, curls, or coils. Any tangled or matted hair will result in a detangling fee of $50/per half hour and/or you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
I now provide hair extensions on a pre order basis. Hair extensions orders should be placed at minimum 14 business days before your scheduled install. It is recommended to order at least 21 days in advance. Your hair will be texture matched at your First Time Guest or Extensions Consultation.
